Hindawi Open Access Journals - Manuscript Submission, Scopus journal free of charge

As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, Scopus does not provide free access to its journal articles. Scopus is a paid subscription-based service that offers access to abstracts and citations of academic journal articles, conference papers, and other scholarly literature. It is a comprehensive database widely used by researchers, institutions, and universities for literature search and bibliometric analysis.

However, some open access journals indexed in Scopus may provide free access to their published articles. Open access journals make their articles freely available to the public, often under a Creative Commons license. You can search for open access journals within Scopus or use alternative platforms that specifically focus on open access research, such as the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).

It's worth noting that journal articles published in prestigious and highly reputable journals are generally not available for free. Subscriptions or access fees are usually required to support the costs of publishing, peer-reviewing, and maintaining the quality of such articles.

To submit a manuscript to Hindawi Open Access Journals, you can follow these general steps:

  1. Choose the appropriate journal: Visit the Hindawi website (https://www.hindawi.com/) and browse through their list of journals to find the one that best matches the scope and focus of your research.
  2. Review the author guidelines: Once you have selected a journal, navigate to the journal's homepage and locate the "Instructions for Authors" or "Author Guidelines" section. Read these guidelines thoroughly to understand the manuscript requirements, formatting guidelines, and any specific instructions for submission.
  3. Prepare your manuscript: Format your manuscript according to the journal's guidelines. Pay attention to elements such as structure, word count, referencing style, figures, and tables. Make sure to include all necessary sections like an abstract, introduction, methods, results, discussion, and conclusion.
  4. Create an account: Most journals require authors to create an account on their submission system. Look for a link or button that says "Submit Manuscript" or similar. Follow the instructions to register as an author.
  5. Submit your manuscript: Once you have created an account, you can start the submission process. Provide the requested information, including the manuscript title, abstract, author names, and affiliations. Upload the manuscript file, along with any supplementary materials such as figures or data files.
  6. Review and confirm submission: Before finalizing your submission, carefully review all the details you have entered. Make sure your manuscript meets all the requirements and that all files are correctly uploaded. Once you are satisfied, submit your manuscript.
  7. Manuscript tracking: After submission, you will typically receive an email confirmation. You can often track the progress of your manuscript through the journal's submission system. This may include updates on the peer review process, revisions, and the final decision.

Keep in mind that the submission process may vary slightly depending on the specific journal and publisher. Always refer to the journal's guidelines and instructions for the most accurate and up-to-date information on manuscript submission
